The feel of this handle is like rich, luxurious, decadent, heavy metal in your palm. Baldwin pieces maintain their shine and function over several years. I had a room with this door handle and removed it when I moved. Several years later I found it in a zip lock bag and reinstalled in my new home...It's been over 15 years but it matched the new baldwin handles I bought from Wayfair and I'm still very satisfied.
