Product Care: Before the first use, wash terry cloth at 140°F to remove the treatments used during production and to obtain the best absorption results. Wash dark terry cloth separately for the first three washes (possibility of bleeding), and feel free to use a color catcher wipe. As a rule of thumb, always separate light and dark colors to prevent the fibers of one color from being deposited on the other. During regular washing, wash terry cloth at 140°F with a liquid detergent and no fabric softener, which tends to coat cotton fibers and reduce their absorbency. Wash terry velour with a full load and tumble dry to prevent lint (from shaving) during the first use of the product. Tumble drying is recommended for baths. It will make your linen softer and fluffier. However, be careful with the temperature of your dryer: Maximum 104°F to 140°F. Bath can be ironed, albeit at low to medium temperatures.
