Light scatters unevenly across the hammered iron of the Trebol Pedestal, pooling in the dents and skipping the raised edges so the column never looks flat. The trefoil footprint gives that column a three-lobed geometry with real architectural bearing, which is what lets it stand alone in an entry rather than needing a wall behind it. Tall and narrow, it lifts a sculpture, a large vessel, or a framed piece to eye level where it can be seen properly. Felt at the base spares the floor.
