Additional Features

• A hammered iron surface breaks up reflected light, giving a tall, plain form texture you can read from across the room.
• The trefoil base gives the column a three-lobed plan that is more interesting underfoot than a plain square and steady on every side.
• Solid iron gives the pedestal enough weight to carry a substantial object without feeling precarious.
• In an entry or foyer it works as a freestanding focal point, filling an awkward corner that ordinary furniture cannot.
• Felt under the base protects wood and stone floors when the pedestal needs to be shifted for cleaning.
