An inventive translation of piping detailing on traditional upholstery, the tonal woven soft rush front adds texture while complementing the solid mango wood construction of the Rye collection. More commonly recognized as Tatami-omote, this tightly woven multilayered natural rice straw is a centuries-old natural material known for its durability and temperature absorption originating in Japan.

I had my eye on this dresser for a long time, and when the price was right I jumped on the opportunity. Wayfair was helpful and accommodating Now, about the dresser itself. The drawers "pop" open with a spring system--that is, you push the drawer in and it pops out. This would be fine if the drawers worked exceptionally well. I will say the performance improved the more I used them, however I found I needed to press them with two hands and in just the right spot. This is not what I was looking for in a dresser. The waterfall lines of the chest were an attractive feature, kind of a 70's flair. But I'm not sold on the quality. The fit and finish is not what I'd expect from an heirloom piece. I don't know how this dresser will age. I would never pay full price for this dresser now that I've seen it. I'd instead order an Amish piece of furniture for about the same price. It is an imported piece for certain, from the Moe's Home Collection and it has been white labeled by Wayfair. Do your research. It's a nice dresser but not heirloom quality.. Timothy. Milwaukee, WI. This dresser is beautiful with lovely beaded detailing that gives it an elegant look. The finish is a versatile color that works well with many different design styles, and the overall weight of the dresser feels substantial and high quality. Delivery was easy, and the delivery team took great care placing it in the room of our choice. The top two drawers have a light felt lining, which is a nice added touch for protecting more delicate items. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the drawers do not pull out very far, making it a little difficult to see everything stored inside. I’m currently using this dresser in my closet setup for items I don’t reach for every day, so the functionality works well for my needs. However, if I were using it as an everyday dresser, I think the drawer design would become a bit frustrating over time. Overall though, it’s a gorgeous piece with great quality and style.. Amy.
