Chair is very attractive and comfortable. I paid for assembly and I’m glad I did. It seemed difficult for the tech to tighten the screws and one leg had to be hammered into place because it wouldn’t fit. The base of the legs have holes in the center, a logical place to install a small metal plate to protect the wood. However, those plates were not included. I already had felt circles to protect my wood floors. I will have to source the plates to protect the wooden legs. Would I buy it again? Yes! But I can’t turn the chair over by myself, so assembly doesn’t feel complete.. Anonymous. Thu Jul 30 2026

Scandinavian mid-century design aesthetics and Brazilian modernism meet on the new Brasilia lounge chair and corresponding ottoman, designed for Audo by Anderssen and Voll. Originally imagined for the Audo, the luxurious armchair-lounge chair hybrid offers unparalleled sitting comfort thanks to its robust frame and soft upholstery. "The design was directly inspired by the mood at the Audo. There was something about the setting, wooden sculptures, calm ambiance, and welcoming colors, that made us think of more exotic variations of modernism rather than our own familiar Scandinavian roots," note designers Torbjorn Anderssen and Espen Voll. Made using traditional joinery techniques, the wooden frame is characterized by exaggerated armrests, cylindrical legs at the front, and broad, wooden boards at the back, lending the chair personality and its distinctive look. The cushioning seat and backrest add to the sense of ease. The versatile footrest doubles as a seat for unexpected guests or a resting place for a newspaper or tray.

I love the 2 chairs and the sofa. Now I'm considering ordering 2 ottomans.. James. Wailuku, HI. Sat Jun 12 2021
