Very large very bulky and uncomfortable. No back support (too short) and extremely deep seats - a really uncomfortable combo. Looks nothing like the picture. The pillows are so shapeless, fold and collapse down at the lightest touch (the filling is too soft especially for the seating) and don’t recover. Fabric is rough and feels like a potato sack. Ardmore designers have given us two signature limited edition sofas with the launch of our Sabie fabric collection 2020, which come 30 in Tanzanite and 30 in Delta, both in rich and sensual velvet. The high backs allow for two to sit amongst dancing elephants juggling a vervet monkey, flanked by travelers riding a giraffe and ostrich. Our feet and behinds cool off in the Sabie river waters where hippos and crocs play amongst water lilies and a python coils in the right-hand corner under one’s arm. In the shadows of the plants, at the back of the sofa, emerges the elusive King cheetah with his rare spots and stripes. The sofa's border base and arms are framed with Zulu beaded striped - liked pattern, so often seen in the bases of Ardmore Ceramic works. The tailored sofa is distinguished by the sleek pinstripe fabric around the back support. A beautiful wooden base supports the sofa and is accentuated along the bottom edge with a filet of solid brass running around the entire frame of the sofa. Elegant shapely legs and frame are finished in a dark waxed oiled walnut finish. This item is covered in natural muslin. It is a temporary covering intended to hold the upholstery components in place until they can be replaced by appropriate upholstery fabric. Muslin is imperfect by nature.
