An inventive translation of piping detailing on traditional upholstery, the tonal woven soft rush front adds texture while complementing the solid mango wood construction of the Rye collection. More commonly recognized as Tatami-omote, this tightly woven multilayered natural rice straw is a centuries-old natural material known for its durability and temperature absorption originating in Japan.

I had my eye on this dresser for a long time, and when the price was right I jumped on the opportunity. Wayfair was helpful and accommodating Now, about the dresser itself. The drawers "pop" open with a spring system--that is, you push the drawer in and it pops out. This would be fine if the drawers worked exceptionally well. I will say the performance improved the more I used them, however I found I needed to press them with two hands and in just the right spot. This is not what I was looking for in a dresser. The waterfall lines of the chest were an attractive feature, kind of a 70's flair. But I'm not sold on the quality. The fit and finish is not what I'd expect from an heirloom piece. I don't know how this dresser will age. I would never pay full price for this dresser now that I've seen it. I'd instead order an Amish piece of furniture for about the same price. It is an imported piece for certain, from the Moe's Home Collection and it has been white labeled by Wayfair. Do your research. It's a nice dresser but not heirloom quality.. Timothy. Milwaukee, WI. I love the piece. It’s sturdy and well built. The color was a lot different than I thought it would be. I know Walnut has many variations but it has a very red Cherry type stain.. Kristen. FL. Sun Jul 21 2024

This is such a beautiful, well-made set of bedroom furniture. I have owned it for about a year and I could not be happier. Every time I enter my master bedroom I marvel at how lovely this furniture is. The top looks and feels like marble. Each piece is solid and very heavy. I recommend paying extra to have this placed where you want it. It would not have been at all easy for my husband and me to move.. Elizabeth. Johnson City, TN. Wed Dec 10 2025

I love the unique aspects of this dresser. The drawers are more shallow than most dressers this size so check the dimensions and confirm it will work for your needs. The 4 stars is due to some issues with the drawer mechanisms sliding smoothly. The drawers can be a bit hard to open and close.. Chandra. Scroggins, TX. Mon May 06 2024
