Beautiful solid acacia wood. Excellent!

It is an okay dresser and shouldnt worth $1400. Drawers slide nicely but the assembly finish isn't great. Terrible L-bracket on top (see photos)- with time the the squareness of the dresser could very likely to be affected. Some permanent ashy smudge with finger marks as well. Updating my review. I ended up returning it. The bottom drawer didnt slide at all. My first review was submitted before opening and checking each drawer. I dont know why the seller decided to ship a damaged item from India. Very disappointed about the delivery. I was promised white glove delivery and someone to call me before they arrived. That was a complete lie. They left this 185lb dresser outside my door and had to beg neighbors to help me move it. Unpacking and moving the dresser to the right place (as a woman) wasnt the best experience. If you are living in upstate NY areas the scum shipping partner to Wayfair is called Brown's Moving & Storage Co - SYR (in Syracuse).

Piece itself: Solid wood - nothing to put together! It also passes Prop 65 which is next to impossible to find these days. Not made in China (India)! Delivery: Was early & guys were on time and called 30 minutes prior to delivery. Ascetics: I do like not having hardware to break off, dust off or come loose. Open/Close: Drawers open and close with the same amount of ‘glide’ – no noise. Cons: My only gripe is, the top drawer, you open from the bottom portion of the drawer and the second drawer from the top down is opened from the top portion of the drawer. This process repeats for drawers three and four. I seem to get confused where to grab drawers three and four (meaning is it from the top of bottom of that drawer). I am sure I will get used to. Final thoughts: I know this item is expensive dresser, but if you can swing to you will be very happy with it. From its solid wood build, lack of chemicals and even the dovetail drawer joints (higher quality and longer lasting build). It feels like it will last for many years and build wise has been the best built dresser I have ever owned! - no press wood at all. I'm glad I made this purchase as I wanted a quality price that will last - and this checks off those boxes as well as functionality with flying colors.
