The ends of the table are supported on two robust scrolled pedestals; the parquet top is pieced with cathedral elm veneers. The table seats up to twelve people with the addition of a leaf. The top of the Pearce dining table is finished in parch, a light open-grained finish; the base is in Cirrus, a neutral painted finish that has been rubbed and gently aged by hand.

I really love this table and its ability to work in my narrow dining space. It’s important to know it is not sealed. The second photo is a stain from a basket of biscuits. The baskets had a clean fabric liner. We are using placemats until it can be glass topper installed. The wood top was delivered with several spots of imperfect staining.
