The gold standard in office seating, the chair redefines the concept of traditional task chairs. Designer Niels Diffrient aimed to design an office chair that automatically adapts to the user, allowing them to move freely from posture to posture.

Have this chair at work (with headrest) so ordered for my office at home now we’re working from home more. It’s very sturdy and comfortable. Good lumbar support which was the primary reason I spent the money - I knew what I was getting for the price. Noticed an immediate difference with my sciatic pain. Assembly is very easy - no tools just attach the base to the seat. The thing I like about this chair is you can lean and the arms lean with you. Also the arms are adjustable.. Sandy. Aurora, IL. Discover the closest thing to sitting on air. Humanscale’s first foray into all-mesh task seating, innovative backrest provides custom lumbar support for every sitter at any stage of recline. Niels Diffrient designed Diffrient World to offer ease of use and effortless functionality. With weight-sensitive recline that adjusts automatically and armrests that are attached to the back of the chair, so they move with the user for ergonomic comfort, Diffrient World provides custom comfort for every sitter. A high quality, affordable task chair with minimal parts, Diffrient World was built with longevity in mind and will look as good in ten years as it does today.

Aire Chair is the first all-mesh offering in the Branch seating line. While most mesh chairs feel stiff or sag after extended use, Aire Chair makes use of a unique zoned mesh to maximize longevity and evenly distribute weight across the seat and back. More taut zones in the seat encourage durable support and a firm base, while softer zones in the backrest encourage flex and address pressure points to reduce muscle fatigue. Made accessible by advancements in materials and manufacturing, Aire Chair's performance mesh better responds to the body's micro-movements throughout the workday and vents body heat for exceptional temperature regulation. Unique to Aire Chair is a weight-balanced mechanism that adjusts tension to the user's body weight without the need for manual intervention, enabling smoother transitions between a variety of seated positions. Designed with a waterfall pad for improved comfort, the Aire's armrests adjust across three dimensions to enable anyone to find their perfect fit.
