Overall I am very satisfied with this product. However, there was one minor design flaw I discovered during assembly. A preinstalled angle prevents the leg from being perfectly flush with the tabletop resulting in a slight wobble of the leg (see photo). A divine place to write and work, this delicately crafted writing desk maintains a starburst-patterned oak parquetry design from top to bottom. The desk possesses a central drawer flanked by two further additions, all set upon tapered oak legs with Verde Bronze finished handles.

The desk is gorgeous. It is quite a bit smaller than the desk it is replacing so still getting used to less surface space, but the surface is very pretty. The pulls on the drawers are solid and heavy, and the drawers, while small, have some weight to them so you can tell when opening/closing them you are dealing with a well-crafted piece.
