I have only had the desk for 4 1/2 months and I have been extremely careful with it. I only use my laptop ( has pads on bottom ) and mouse with mousepad. Top coat of lacquer is breaking thru and has milky spots.Wayfair/ Perigold passed me on to the the manufacturer who keeps insisting it is my fault and will not assist in return or refund. I have provided multiple pictures as well as an email from my cleaning service verifying their care/ products used.

A rectangular framed top rests over squared corner posts over three apron rail drawers. Crafted from hardwood solids and cherry veneer. Furniture and upholstery appearances can vary and are not guaranteed due to the inherent variation of all natural materials, including wood color, wood grain, leather, and stone material and finish.
