My Alnwick bureau has been moved so many times and been used in so many different decorative schemes that I struggle to remember exactly when it came into our house. The armoire arrived a couple of days ahead of schedule. Our house is built up - the garage is underneath - and the delivery driver brought the armoire up the stairs into the house. I appreciated that! The packing was excellent - it was well protected for the shipment. The armoire is exactly as described on the web site. Color/staining is good. Construction of the armoire is good as well. The only issue is the latch on one door is a little tricky - sometimes it doesn't catch and the door opens, but we're getting used to that and have figured out how to close consistently.. John. This simple yet elegant locker cabinet can be used as a storage cabinet. With two small upper doors and larger lower doors, each with its unique key. It is an elegant cabinet. It is a great cabinet because of its multi-functionality it can fit into an office, living room, family room, or even dining room. It comes with plates for name tags as well as interior brass hangers for hats, clothes etc..

I could not believe how well packaged this armoire was when it arrived. I think it would have taken a major event to have ever damaged it in transit. So it arrived in perfect condition and is a very attractive and solid piece. I saw the keys and thought that they were probably the same key for each compartment, but no. Each compartment has its own key with a different number labeled inside to identify each key. I am also thrilled that it’s unique, and very hard to find, size has ended my long search. To top it off, it’s solid wood so no outgasing of dangerous chemicals from the manufactured wood that so many of the armoires are made of. I don’t write reviews all that often but had to for this.
