The color and shape are exactly as pictured HOWEVER - what they don't tell you - is the joints are very low and the headboard is high and heavy. That means that it WOBBLES even if you are in bed alone (and I hope you're in good company). I've had it tightened twice. No luck. It rocks like a BOAT. At this price, structural problems don't make sense. AVOID.
