Exactly as it appears. Heavy and solid. Expensive but unable to find anything that looks as nice for a more moderate price. It was exactly what ai was looking for

very heavy sturdy shelf. Was surprised that there were no foot pads for such a heavy piece. Was just the metal.

Nice piece, unfortunately came with one shelf warped. Wayfair sorted the problem out but be aware this works for a large room.
