When locked it leans back, when unlocked, it’s like a recliner/lounge chair. The leather was scratched, and it came without a manual. The delivery people thought that it was previously returned. Another company picked it up to return to the manufacturer, and Wayfair has ordered a replacement. We are waiting for the new one, as the chair really is beautiful; hopefully the new one is functional.
