This item is extremely well-made, very sturdy, and the woodwork is impressive.

The doors are very interesting. I expected a a veneer based on the description, but they appear hand carved. Its a heavy piece, solid wood. The finish (unfinished outside, painted inside) on the piece has a bit of a funny smell. The wood is unfinished and very light (picture is accurate), it's unclear what type of polish or care I can use on it to clean (some dusty residue on it). More detailed care instructions would be helpful update: Don't use furniture polish. I applied polish to clean the dust and remove the smell. It appears the finish was some sort of white wash and was mostly stripped off the piece which is now a dirty natural color rather than a faded white

Horrible. Legs were bent so it was uneven. Trying to get it picked up has been a ridiculous process. So disappointed

Soft color, soft wood, looks like. Has a soft feel. Perfect for where I have it.

Beautiful Piece. Heavy piece. Cons 1st came broken (resolved), wood is raw, not coated with a top paint and if spills occur or an item placed on top are died or stained it seems like wood would absorb color and not be able to be cleaned clean, doors are set in and the rims were not finished and left off white like inside of the piece. Paint smells.
