It is a lovely side table with a soft gold finish that looks like it has a soft silvery glaze over it, so it's not bright gold. It is perfect for the spot I needed it for.

 I ordered two of these for either side of a sofa in my family room. They’re beautiful as pictured. Just be aware that they are more silver than gold, and at first the color was an issue for me. My friend who is a decorator actually added some gold touches to the tables, and now they are absolutely perfect. I love them!
