While the chair is nice looking and matches the Brookhaven desk I bought from Perigold, it was incredibly uncomfortable and I had to return it. The back and seat come together in a way that puts pressure and strain on the lumbar area. I had two others sit in it, not telling them what I thought of it and both said it was uncomfortable and one said it had too little padding in the back and seat. I have to agree with that as well. Ended up costing me $200 for the return, but I was able to find a suitable replacement for it from another seller and that chair was much less expensive than the one I returned. I would recommend against buying this chair and only gave it two stars because it is nice looking and if you don't intend to sit in it much, it may be suitable for you.
