The bookshelf is sturdy and the shelves are strong. The shelves are also nice and deep and wide. Perfect for really large books. It looks lovely in my front room.

I bought 3 of them and they arrived quickly. The white glove delivery was smooth. This book shelf is very heavy and stable, and the solid wood shelf can hold lots of heavy books with no concern of sagging. It's a bit pricy but worth it. My cat also likes it as a cat tree.
