I needed a narrow desk to nest into the window in my living room. This was one of the only chic desks I could find in the right size and the price is right! I love it. For those worried about the bar across the bottom, don't be. It doesn't get in the way of my legs and I really don't notice it.

While the piece was nicely finished, the arched wooden bar that ties the legs together was 3/4" too long. In my case, I liked the look of the piece enough to have the bar cut-down, re-drilled for new dowels, then glued together. I doubt that the average buyer would go to the trouble -- not to mention the expense.
