• We set out to create a slim pedestal table that could go just about anywhere. Chit Chat’s beginnings involved exploring a variety of shapes for the top and base. Making both circular kept it feeling friendlier. Next, we tweaked scale and proportion until we had the just-right size for all occasions. We designed the flange around the rim to add interest and prevent spillage. Finally, we played with pairing materials. We loved the idea of mixing and matching tops and bottoms, combining finishes like marble and steel, for an elegant and exciting look.
