This pedestal table has a 28" self-storing butterfly leaf and it stands sturdy on an over-built steel-reinforced saber leg pedestal with solid brass-capped feet and heavy levelers.  It is a heavy sturdy table.  The tabletop is decorated with a pie-cut flame mahogany field and a sunburst inlaid leaf with fine black & white inlay. This table has a modern dark brown walnut finish, which is best described as rich espresso bean brown.
