I bought this bowl in white, and it looks lovely on my counter, to hold my fresh fruit. It would also make a nice serving dish for a cooked veggie, or for some cheese and crackers or fresh veggies for an appetizer for a small group. I like that it isn't round and symmetrical...the shape adds interest. It's very sturdy, and not seemingly fragile. It would make a pretty gift (hostess gift?) because it will go with anyone's decor..
