These are so pretty. I have been feeling so bored of clear glasses on the holidays. We use those all year. I wanted a color that would work for Thanksgiving or Christmas. This color will. Note, these are small. They are a descent size, and a good weight, but the top part is more like a juice glass. I wanted something smaller for storing and so my 3 younger children could use a fancy glass along with the adults. They will look so nice with my holiday schemes. Ty. Sarah. North Chesterfield, VA. The Single Old Fashioned glass is perfect for any high-alcohol-content classics on ice, as well as simple sours. In the 19th century, the term cocktail referred to a specific type of drink, rather than an entire category of drinks as it does today. It was clearly defined as containing spirits, sugar, bitters, and water or ice. This classic mixture was later termed Old Fashioned, and this short-sided tumbler was the perfect vessel for it. The RIEDEL Tumbler Collection presents a range of must-have glasses for all cocktail and spirits lovers. Working with nostalgia for retro, heavy-based glasses, this series offers a range of stunning designs for barware connoisseurs. Discover the versatility of these stylish yet traditional glasses for drinks enjoyment, with designs inspired by the glamorous Art Nouveau period. Machine-made and dishwasher safe. Luigi Bormioli embarked upon this new adventure with a collection of luxury Barware and Cocktail making equipment, created in collaboration with Yuri Gelmini, head barman of the Surfer’s Den in Milan and Futuristic Mixologist. The study and the search for new elements, expert hands which know how to mix and fine-tune new flavors, everything is left to the taste and the imagination of Futurist Mixologist Yuri Gelmini, and leads to forms of creativity and aesthetic expression thanks to both technical means and his ability deriving from study and experience in this field.

Very beautiful and slim. I thought these smoky-gray textured glasses were going to be too big for my mother-in-law's hands, but no, they are perfect.
