Dishes are beautiful, however the footing at the bottom is narrow which causes the plate to tip when you try to cut food on it. Best used for meals not needing a knife! A stir-fry or pasta dish would be the perfect use.

I have been looking for plates to coordinate with my existing set for the past year as my current set was custom made 20 years ago and my plates are diminishing. These will do just fine. They are a little curvy, almost like a bowl but not quite. I don't know if they can go in the microwave or not, one place said yes and one place said no. They are a nice green. There is kind of a blob in each one,almost like paint running but it must be from how they are made, no biggie.
