Dottie was first discovered in 1998 in Apopka, Florida, and was patented by the breeder for how purple its leaves are and the contrast of the hot pink variegation. Planter is great quality and nice size. But missing the wooden stand. Upon arrival, the plant had quite a bit of wilted leaves. I hated to have to trim the fern, but unfortunately there was not a chance to revive the leaves. Plant was packaged very well, it’s sad the plant arrived less than expected.
