This plant came packed well, and very healthy! We transplanted about 5 days later, using the soil it came in mixed with and good indoor potting soil. Let the holiday spirit grow throughout the year with Christmas Poinsettias from costa farms. Poinsettias have been the staple plant for Christmas since the early 1800s. Great as a gift or for your own home, Poinsettias feature lance-like leaves that work to purify the air all year long. A seasonal centerpiece that's ideal for smaller spaces, the Poinsettia is great for decorating. Poinsettia thrives on sunlight and will do well in a sunny window. Water when the top couple inches of the soil is dry and be sure all excess water drains away. If the container does not have holes, use approximately one cup of water, adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Poinsettia sit in water or overly soggy soil. The height at shipping is approximately 15 inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Made from a 100% recyclable material. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. The Poinsettia is a slow to moderate grower depending on its environment and is hardy in USDA Zone 10.
