The Minos clock is the result of a joint project between raawii and students from the Swiss design school ECAL. The designer Manon Novelli translated the given theme of light and shadow as well as the medium of ceramics into a relief that is always revealed anew to the viewer when the ambient light changes. I like the style of the clock very much, but it was a nightmare to install correctly. If you could have included a simple template transfer sheet to mark the exact locations of the numbers and dots; it would have been much easier. The cardboard thing was useless. Since I had to keep moving and adjusting the numbers and dots without a template, the double sided tape isn't holding and I've had to use pencil to try to draw my own template ... which then had to be erased and ruins the perfect finish of my freshly painted walls. Stainless steel round wall clock with a quartz time-only movement.

I like the clock... however, at least three things do not work well for us: 1) The tiny little indentation on the clock mechanism makes it impossible to hang a hook. We have put picture wire on each edge to hang it safely from a wall hook. But, because it is a heavy clock, it does not sit flush with the wall. 2) The glass is very reflective. I have to be quite careful about the angle at which I read the time. 3) I looked through your clock choices and this was the best one available in a relatively plain analog style. However, a slightly smaller clock (one inch less, perhaps) would have been preferable.. Anonymous. Sat Nov 16 2024

This modern wall clock is unique in its tall, simplistic design elements and features a large pendulum bob. The metal dial attaches to the top of the tall, rectangular column that houses the pendulum. The suspended metal clock dial has no back, making the metal frame appear to be floating in front of the column.
