Image brush gel finish is a hand-applied gel finish using strokes that follow the line of the original image giving it a subtle texture. It involves applying thick coats of gel using a brush or knife to give 3d texture to the art even once dried.
This is a beautiful print that fits in perfectly with the decor in our sitting room. Very peaceful and serene. At the recommendation of Design Services, we ordered the 'glass coat' to create a more 'high end' look. Unfortunately, we get a lot of natural light in this area which creates a glare. I would recommend a 'knife gel' finish if the artwork is in area proximity to windows.. Patricia. Saint Louis, MO. Sat Apr 11 2026

From giclee prints to cushions to light sconces to desk accessories, and so much more besides, you can start your Dana Gibson collection in any room of the house, and grow it from there. It is the color palette that is going to draw you in first, and the gorgeous designs will burst to life as you look closer. This very artist-centric technique will help you to choose the ideal piece or pieces for your home, and any guests and visitors you have will enjoy spending some time dissecting each thing, searching for different pieces of interior design, and generally falling in love with your home, just as you will when you install some art by Dana Gibson. The interior of your home has a direct impact on the rest of your life. If you live in a drab, dreary, impersonal kind of place, you’ll feel much less happy than if you were to add some color and interest and make your space into something that truly shows the world who you are. With Dana Gibson’s work, you can do precisely that. You can bring color into your life; you can bring joy; you can bring vitality. Finally, you’ll have plenty of choices if you’re buying a piece of art created by Dana Gibson. No matter what room in your home you want to decorate, there will be something created by this stylish and modern art that will suit you. And more than one thing, in fact – Gibson’s output of work is impressive, to say the least.

The piece is beautiful but it took forever to get. I tried to cancel the order because of a change of address - thought it was cancelled and three weeks later it showed up at my home. Turns out the fulfillment center DECLINED my cancel with no explanation. The first person I spoke with at Perigold was fine, just repeating what her script said. I asked for a manager - explained the situation and he adjusted the pricing for me. So a warning to you - if the product you want shows a delayed shipping, be sure you want it because the final decision isn't yours.. Mary. Milwaukee, WI. Tue May 18 2021

This piece traditionally illustrates a white crane against a crisp white background.
I was very disappointed in the condition of the picture when it had arrived. There was no packaging to secure the print in the box, so the picture arrived with broken glass (spilling out on the floor), damaged frame and damaged print. I've asked for a replacement but now that is taking over 3 weeks for arrival. Let's hope the condition is not the same with the new one!. Donna. Naples, FL. Thu May 28 2026

The artist, David Brown, studied and received his fine arts training at California State University of Long Beach and graduated with a BFA in Drawing and Painting in 2018. As a child, he watched his older brother draw and recalls wanting to draw just like him when he grew up. David currently lives in Long Beach, California, and has been lucky to show his work in multiple group shows and a few solo shows, mostly based in the Los Angeles area. His traditional work includes oil, charcoal, and graphite. He is strongly influenced by Renaissance, Baroque, and a lot of today’s contemporary work. David’s work is predominately focused on the human figure. “People are my inspiration. I love learning people’s stories and try to capture the sitter’s narrative through my drawings/ paintings …I love drawing people from life, I feel that my work focuses on the relationship between artist and model”. His art is his one true passion and he believes that, “artists are super sensitive and emotional human beings, our work is a physical representation of our thoughts and emotions, a diary that we choose to share with the world”.
