Beautiful print with great details in a high quality frame. Glass was broken when it arrived (I heard the glass break when Fed-Ex literally threw it down on my front porch). Wayfair’s amazing customer service immediately took care of it for me, though.. Br. GA. Sat Apr 02 2022

Elena Carlie was born in Romania; a country known for its rich cultural heritage and great natural beauty. At the age of 22, she moved to the United States where she expanded her horizons and grew as an artist. She has studied Fine arts since she was a child and currently holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of NH. “Art defines our humanity, freedom, and individuality. It is a way to articulate abstract thought and separates us from other life forms. Art is incredibly therapeutic for me, and foremost a strong passion. It’s not something I think about, but rather, something I feel.” Carlie finds inspiration everywhere. She strives to discover new ways of interpretation and sees this as a formula to remain fresh. It is a way of having fun while doing something that she loves. “To me, anything that can be manipulated can become an art medium.” “I love to work with watercolor paint, oil paint, acrylic paint, pencil, pen, and ink. However, the digital tools available today are pushing the limits of creativity and I find myself very involved with it.”

Austin Beiv grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn where the expression of one’s self was usually done through wall tagging, or as they say in Italian, "graffito." He was influenced by many different artists, particularly Fernando Carlo, who was well known for his expressive graffiti. The influence from Austin’s childhood is where the edge and contemporary look comes from in his art pieces. After graduating from the Pratt Institute in the early ’90s, he now travels all over America to look for inspiration, whether it’s a tagged wall or an art museum. Ultimately, he loves to embrace all the unique and expressive simplicities life offers.

The artist, Richard Ryder, developed an affinity towards art at an early age where he took every opportunity to incorporate art into his assignments. During his early years, while attending elementary school, he would doodle on the blank side of envelopes or any discarded paper. This drove his passion to pursue taking studio art courses while in high school & continued that pursuit through to four-year formal art education. As an artist that is heavily influenced by graphic design, Art Deco, and traditional animation, Richard aims to capture the beauty in whichever subject he is painting. He focuses on ways to exploit the basic elements of art to create a satisfying and cohesive design. As an artist, Richard seeks to improve and challenge himself. He states that “With the internet, I am constantly inspired by art either in the fine art or commercial field. It is this exposure that leads me to constantly explore different mediums and styles".

This traditional illustration captures the valley between mountains where water runs off and a variety of trees grow.

I'm very happy with this piece. The colors are just as shown in the listing. One thing I will point out is that while the product description says the frame is silver, it's actually a very light gold (which is what my computer monitor was showing for the listing photo too). Adds a nice touch for the summer months over the antique chest in my dining room.. Pamela. Westford, MA. Thu Jun 13 2024

The artist creates a coastal landscape using a bolder darker color palette with heavier brushstrokes, yet still manages to capture the airiness of the light on the surface of the water. The waterway leads the viewer into a familiar low country landscape.

Alexys Henry grew up in both Phoenix and New York, influenced by dramatic shifts in both cultural and physical environments. As a child, the long clear expanses of snow-covered fields broken by patches of overgrown trees and half-frozen streams captivated her and continue to influence her imagery. Henry moved to Berkeley, California in 2002. “There I found myself drawn to everyday details such as cracks in walls and layers of peeling paint and poster paper. Nature flourishes alongside urban decay. For me, this is the backdrop of a duplicitous sense of danger as well as hope and community.” From there, Henry’s brief time in Seattle deeply influenced her seascapes. Now back in Phoenix with her daughter, Henry aspires to be a vehicle for freedom and creativity in her work. “I love to experiment with new materials and combinations and my style carries contemporary as well as organic and urban sensibilities.”

This piece of art is beautiful. Colors are exactly as shown . Very happy with purchase.. Gay. Palm Desert, CA. Thu Dec 15 2022

The artist's use of a palette knife to create the horizon line creates a stark contrast between the land and sky. Most of the painting is composed of negative space to highlight the lighting across the clouds and multiple strata in the sky.

Such as everyday events and details that most people would miss. Marks enjoys using the oil medium for his art. In Mark's free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and playing billiards.

Artist Janice Sadler created her painting series in watercolor as an ode to her southern California home. Janice particularly likes working in watercolors, because "the subtle colors intermingle, wash and flow into each other and new colors evolve from it". Janice is inspired by the ocean and local flora. This watercolor series is ideally suited to recreating the visual flavor of the seaside.

Moody colors paired with a glowing horizon, in this artwork, create a transitional landscape.

Artist Commentary: A beautiful morning on the water. Stripes of seersucker and hand-dyed fabric add to the fun texture in this abstract coastal landscape.

The sun rises on a shadowy morning as light reflects off the water at dawn in this misty landscape.

The art piece is stunning. It is beyond expectation! The frame had some slight corner damage not at all related to delivery, that team Omar and Diego were fantastic, in time and very professional. The frame would not have been my choice in the area which I hung it. I believe it takes away from the beauty of the art and or possibly just not my taste. I would have loved to choose my frame. I am keeping it because I love it, and will figure out the frame issue which was resolved to my satisfaction with Perigold.. Kelly. CA. Thu Feb 01 2024
