Austin Beiv grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn. Where the expression of one’s self was usually done through wall tagging, or as we say in Italian "graffito". Austin was influenced by many different artists particularly Fernando Carlo. Fernando was well known for his expressive graffiti. The influence from Austin’s childhood is where the edge and contemporary look comes from in his art pieces. Austin graduated from Pratt Institute in the early ’90s. Artist Commentary: I find water particularly beautiful and intriguing because of the contrast of its strength and softness. It has the power to reshape stones and yet can run through your fingers. The water in this painting is in the north Puget Sound, is 450 feet deep, and teeming with life, including Orcas whales, sea lions and salmon.

I would never order from Perigold again. I didn’t realize that this was a nonreturnabke item. The item was, in my opinion, not as advertised.
