This piece, inspired by the most famous work of the Viennese painter, was made to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Gustav Klimt (1862-1918). Klimt's painting, influenced by symbolism and art nouveau, stands out for its ornamental exuberance, so the challenge for Lladró's artists has been to remain faithful to the spirit of the original by means of a decoration in which the golden luster, the application of enamels and the different shades of gloss and Matte play a fundamental role.

Atlas, son of Iapetus and the nymph Clymene LED the rebellion of the Titans against Zeus and, as a punishment, he was condemned to hold up the sky on his shoulders countless legends exist about this strong man who bore the weight of the celestial spheres to keep them separate from the earth and maintain the balance of the universe. He was also attributed with great learning in mathematics and astrology. Making this Atlas required a set of 12 different molds to create the porcelain fragments to compose the final piece. To further enhance the strength of this god, it was decided not to apply any other color except for some carefully chosen touches of golden luster and the iridescent metalized enamels of the sphere.

Senbanjo's personal graphic language, which combines influences from the Yoruba culture from Nigeria with a more contemporary treatment, is coupled with the sculptural form to give rise to a singular body of work with the personal stamp of a committed artist. Rendering Senbajo's drawing in porcelain called for outstanding work in two main areas. On one hand, the ornamentation team had to etch each one of the strokes by hand so that they could be recreated in the pieces. On the other, it required the expert hands of the decoration team to carefully paint them in black and golden luster.

Lord Ganesha is the god of wisdom and knowledge. This deity is very popular in India, and he is represented here strumming an Indian guitar called a veena. In addition, the piece portrays other attributes of the traditional iconography of Ganesha, such as the Gada (mace), the Paasha (rope), and the broken fang, all elements whose symbolism is contained in the avatars, or traditional stories about Ganesha, which are known well by his numerous worshippers. This creation has a matte white porcelain finish with touches of gloss and gold luster decorating various parts of the piece.

The three wise men which were first depicted by the brand in 1969 featured in high porcelain, Lladró's maximum artistic category, with attractive decoration. The Lladró brothers Juan, José, and Vicente presented the original pieces as a gift to Pope Paul VI when they visited the Vatican in 1969. Soon afterward, a man stepped on the moon for the first time and the pope, in turn, gave a king to each one of the three astronauts from Apollo 11 and spoke to them about the mission in which another three men were guided by a star to take a message to the entire humanity.
