The Olive Branch collection is one of the best-known and most loved of Michael's motifs. The simple forms create objects that serve wonderfully as stunning individual gifts or an exuberant table setting that decorates an entire moment of your life. The theme itself captures all the most distinctive aspects of Michael's work - narrative strength, deep symbolism, and extraordinary sculptural expression. "The olive branch has always held a powerful meaning for me representing both peace and victory. In designing functional objects with natural forms, there is a mingled sense of fragility and intensity. For me, it is like nature spreading through my interior spaces - like a magical olive grove sweetly willing its way into my home."

The Winter Leaves collection is inspired by nature's transformation from fall to snow-laden winter landscapes. Artfully rendered in this collection with white, slender lines and sculpted edges, these pieces represent the elemental constants of our surroundings, in the finest handcrafted details. "For me, leaves are a metaphor for life itself. They tell the story of nature as a whole, and of the circle of life. The structure of the leaves, at once both delicate and strong, fascinates me. I wanted to celebrate each leaf as a reminder of the preciousness of life and our place in the universe".
Love this decorative dish as a neutral autumnal piece for my home! I bought 2 other different shaped leaves to make a grouping. The colors of white and gold match my rooms perfectly and the attention to design and quality are excellent. I recommend all of the leaf dishes by this designer!. Sharon. Boca Raton, Florida. The Tulip Collection celebrates rebirth as the ground begins to thaw and new life flourishes. Inspired by the feathery petals of the Parrot Tulip, each petal ripples as if the flower is about to take flight. Symbolic of perfect love, these expressive blooms tell a story of life: Passion, grace, and new beginnings. The Tulip Collection features elaborate sculptures in a modern, lyrical way. The white enamel and gold finish reflects the effect of light and shadow that caress each flower as the world begins to wake. I’ve grown up with tulips in my garden since I was a child, and still enjoy the surprise of them as the first sign of spring. The image of their stems forcing through the dirt and eventually bowing under the weight of their heavy-headed blooms is something I find so precious and beautiful.
I love this plate/dish. I bought it for a friend at a store and got so jealous that I had to buy one for myself. It's absolutely stunning.. Stephanie. Frisco, TX. Tue Aug 04 2026

The Butterfly Ginkgo collection celebrates the representation of flora as fauna. Michael's fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree, the Ginkgo Biloba, or "Butterfly Ginkgo", which grows with a double leaf reminiscent of a butterfly's wings, gave rise to a fantasia image of the plant. Executed at the highest level of handcraftsmanship, each piece is rendered in solid brass with hand-etched cocoon-shaped vessels. The pieces in the collection are a tour de force of the handcrafted process, capturing the poetic spirit that is so deeply indicative of Michael's work. "The first time I saw this tree, it literally looked like it had been completely overtaken by butterflies... as if we would all take flight the moment I walked too close or made a noise. The idea that the leaves could evoke the beauty of butterflies was magical to me, like trees that can metamorphose from flora to fauna in the blink of an eye."

The Michael Aram's Pomegranate collection takes its inspiration from one of the most universal and ancient symbols in the world. The fruit has been prized across the globe, across cultures, and across time as a representation of life, rebirth, and renewal as well as fertility and union. "I grew up around pomegranates - from their use as natural dyes on the antique rugs I used to crawl on as a baby to an integral ingredient in the food that I love. When I'm at my home in New Delhi, I wake each morning to the taste of freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. The color, the smell, the delicate flavor all make it feel like a magical elixir to me."

The New Leaves collection is a celebration of the beauty and meaning found in individual leaves. Inspired by specific types of foliage that have taken on sentimental meaning in Michael's life, this collection embodies his genuine passion for nature in its purest and most personal form. Each leaf has its own story, its symbolism, and its inherent wonder, detail, and shape. For the first time, Michael is also interpreting an entire collection of leaves in the proportions in which they occur in nature, amplifying the sense of realism for which he is so well known. While each leaf is expressed as a sculptural object, Michael has yet again managed to infuse function into his forms, making them perfect for the most elemental moments in our daily lives. "There are Champa or Frangipani trees in my garden and at my workshop in India. They are all over India. They are generally planted near Buddhist and Hindu Temples since they are considered spirit trees, highly symbolic of love and recreation. While the flowers are recognized for their beauty, gentle color transitions, and fragrance, it is the stiff, glossy leaf that intrigues me most. There is such strength in their regimented and perfected shapes."

The spectacular rows of plane trees lining “the most beautiful Avenue of the World” inspired the design of the finely engraved crystal leaves that adorn the Champs-Elysées bowl, designed by Marc Lalique in 1951. This sculpture of light and crystal captures the very essence of Paris. This iconic artwork is now issued in a grand and small versions. One of the grand versions is transformed by the manufacturing technique of double gathering.

The photograph, nor the item description of this plate, do not accurately describe the design. From the photo it appears to be hand painted.Unfortunately, the details of the birds are actually made with glitter and faux stones which is not a design style I would have chosen.. Susan. The collection is inspired by the liveliness and vitality of the Japanese flower as it blossoms each spring. Embodying the ideals of renewal, Michael is captivated by the intricate nature of the flower and the symbolism that it holds. Representing fragility and the beauty of life, the collection combines soft, muted pink tones with golden brass and white marble to add a delicacy that exhibits the pure beauty of nature. "I have always been fascinated with the Cherry Blossom and its symbolism in the cycle of life. I find the ephemeral beauty of the blossoms and the way they burst into bloom, however fleetingly, truly inspiring."

The Autumn Leaf collection is inspired by the perfectly imperfect geometry of nature The filigreed patterns of the leaf's skeleton structure suggest the end of its life cycle - marking the passage of time Autumn leaves give hope as they decay and return to the ground, nurturing the earth and fueling new beginnings. For me, leaves are a metaphor for life itself. They tell the story of nature as a whole, and of the circle of life. The structure of leaves, at once both delicate and strong, fascinates me. I wanted to celebrate each leaf as a reminder of the preciousness of life and of our place in the universe.

The Golden Ginkgo collection takes its inspiration from the intricacies of form and texture found in foliage from around the world. By interpreting plant forms in cast metal, Aram presents work that is evocative of a natural environment transformed and redefined. “These pieces have wonderfully undulating leaves, which create an almost rococo surface of playful, delicate, and intricate forms. By combining the individually sculpted leaves, the natural forms join to create a complex pattern. I’ve tried to capture that sense of movement and fragility in metal.”
