I was excited when I ordered this as it would have been perfect in our living room. But, when I received it, the square piece that surrounds the clock looked totally different than the picture. In the picture it reminds me of a leopard or a tortoise shell background with the darker crystals. When I received it, the background was a gold color and the crystals were clear. All my clocks are from this company and have been very high quality. I like but don’t love this one. It’s quite a bit bigger than I expected, but also feels more thin and flimsy than other clocks I purchased. It also doesn’t feel vintage school house as depicted. I missed the part about it being made of plastic and assumed it was metal. It is the mini version of the classic Barcelona clock by Nomon so it has a circumference measuring 66 centimeters standing out among the modern wall clocks that can be installed in medium or small rooms where it usually stands out for the elegant and sophisticated design that characterizes it. The structure of this designer clock consists of a double ring made of fiberglass, and a circular case (made of natural walnut wood) with its respective hands made of black lacquered walnut wood.
