After graduating with a Master of Fine Arts in communications design from the HDK University in Gothenburg, Sweden, he went on to study environmental design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Furthering his education, he graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in interior architecture and furniture design from Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, in Stockholm, Sweden. This painting is spectacular! I'm so happy with it. It's the perfect mix of grays and blues that I was looking for. I was very hesitant to buy artwork without actually seeing it, but I can say that the delivered product looks exactly as the image on the Perigold site. I was very disappointed in the condition of the picture when it had arrived. There was no packaging to secure the print in the box, so the picture arrived with broken glass (spilling out on the floor), damaged frame and damaged print. Raised in Los Angeles, California, D’Alessandro was the youngest of three brothers. When art competition was a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended Illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops in Fullerton Ca. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro's art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces. He also painted family, friends, and gardens. He has done commissioned work for a variety of clients in music, publishing, and editorial. His work has been exhibited in numerous private and public collections.

Artist David Erickson grew up emulating the works of the masters using rudimentary tools. David received his fine arts training while apprenticing under other painters and is primarily self-taught. He became an artist through sheer will, grit, and determination. He enjoys layers of transparency and the unpredictable nature of water-based mediums. David explores themes of memory and place, often through abstract art, and draws inspiration from the world around him across a multitude of disciplines. David's passions are drawing, painting, illustration, design, film, and photography. When David is not painting, he spends his time enjoying the outdoors with his canine companions.

Artist Eve Fairwell has been lucky to have had her childhood passion for art fostered throughout her life via classes, college, and various generous mentors. Eve took all the art classes she could in school, eventually resulting in a senior year of high school filled with four periods of art and the required English and Math. From the ages of 12-15 she trained under a local oil painter whose paintings were sought after in Iran, and in college was mentored by an illustrator for the Times. Eve received her BFA in painting and illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Though she started with playtime watercolor sets, long years of practice, observation, luck, and dedication are what have allowed her to become a full-time artist today. Eve works with acrylic paint, watercolor, and digitally in Photoshop and Illustrator. She is obsessed with the textures that traditional media can produce and often incorporates these into her digital artwork using a combination of effects, which creates a result that draws the eye in. Eve likes how colors interact in digital formats, and the feeling of depth traditional media lends. The style’s that influenced her are minimalism, expressionism and the work of some surrealists captures her interest. Eve’s focus centers on the moments of rest between the bustling movement in our everyday lives. The few seconds that pass eerily quietly in a noisy city; the hush that comes over a room just before the birthday person arrives; a glance that stops you in your tracks. Eve likes still moments of hush that give you chills and make you pause to recognize we are all here, alive, right now experiencing the beautiful weirdness of life. To show this, Eve’s abstract subjects are often explored by feelings in the body or reductions of elements of scenes that cause that feeling to occur.

Mark's grandfather was one of the earliest generations who founded modern Egyptian art. He remembers growing up and admiring his paintings. Marks skill set developed studying old master paintings in museums in different countries around the world. Mark finds inspiration from nature and the world around him. Balance. We think it looks better a little off-center. Dome plays with form and feeling—bisected ovals, shifting shadows, and a color story that’s both calm and charged. Although born and raised in Los Angeles, artist Van Garrett has been heavily influenced by traveling abroad to a multitude of countries, especially Iceland. Music is a big part of his life and it sparked his creativity even before he began painting. In fact, Van did not begin painting until he was in college and he is self-taught. “Art was something that was always in my genes. It makes me happy. I believe that every artist leaves a piece of themselves in their artwork. In turn, it makes me happy when people get to own part of those pieces to share with the world.” Van prefers working in liquid acrylics and watercolors because of their fluidity. “I like how the colors flow. I like to observe how the different shapes and mixtures come alive.” Van finds animals, humans, and nature are his favorite subjects to paint. He is inspired by nature, people, and music. When not painting, Van runs marathons, travels and plays the guitar.
