I was so excited about this but it arrived and looks totally different in person. I expected a watercolor canvas but it has a shiny finish on it that makes it look cheap and not at all made to order. I love the print! It was the colors that I needed and loved. It was a little pricey for the Quality or texture of it. It seems a little flat in texture but not bad. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro's art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. Growing up, artist Helen parker loved to paint. Her favorite childhood memory is painting with her mother. This led Helen on a path to the world of art. I am so disappointed in the item I received. My painting doe not look remotely like the painting pictured online. Instead of the complex mixture of dark blues, light blues and grays that I was expecting, I got a cheap-looking version that is 50% dark blue, 50% champagne with random dabs of gold in the middle.
