For Jean, art means lots of things. She thinks art is her language and a privilege given to her to express. It is also the way that she can communicate with the world in her own unique and personal way. Jean finds her inspiration in small things that make her excited. For example, movies, a lazy day on a beach, and the silence of a rainy day. Although she mostly works on digital media, Jean loves to draw with a pen and markers. She especially likes to draw cityscapes that involve perspective and stories of city life. During the weekends, Jean often goes outside into the city, studies people and buildings around her, and brings them to life in her sketchbook. Jean believes the purpose of an artist’s work is in bringing excitement and happiness into people’s minds. ‘I love to create art that makes your heart warm’.

It’s rare that the actual item out does the write up and pictures, but it did! This is the second one I bought of the dog series. I tried one first and loved it so much we bought the second one. Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of me and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brings me to a state of pure joy. It is the place in which I can be myself.” Her favorite medium to use is a pencil, which she describes as “back to basics art.” She finds inspiration in daily strolls and travel. She also enjoys reading and embroidering when she is not creating new artwork.

Looks cheap (especially compared with the price tag) in person and unfortunately is not returnable. The image brush gel was too light to be noticeable or make the painting look worth the price.
