Åsa Jungnelius' classic sculpture Mother of Pearl is now available as a smaller object in the Kosta Boda artist collection. Mother of pearl is uniquely shaped in hot glass and the color is poured into the scoop. The pattern is created individually by the mold. The crystal-clear pearl is hand-sculpted and the pieces are joined with heat in the hot shop at Kosta Glassworks.

This handmade crystal glass ornament from the Liuli studios has a loose-set crystal ball among a swirling, yet well-balanced, circular design of ocean waves. Using traditional Chinese symbolism of water for fortune, the piece shows the constant flow of riches in a concentric and well-balanced design.
