Legend of Asia takes the traditional fish bowl form and finishes it in a rusted iron glaze, so the warm browns pool in the low points and thin out over the curves. Every brown bowl is hand shaped and hand painted before a high firing that vitrifies the clay, leaving the porcelain bowl waterproof, frost tolerant, and heavy in the hand. The palette makes it easy rustic decor for a farmhouse kitchen or a study, and it layers just as well with collected asian decor on a console. Use it as a planter bowl for succulents, a catchall bowl for keys and mail by the door, a low table centerpiece on a dining table, or simple shelf decor among books. Minor variation in shape and finish is expected and part of the handmade appeal.
