Kay Bojesen
Birds meet, and sweet music ensues. The series of songbirds and lovebirds are beloved classics in Danish design and everlasting symbols of timeless love. With this pair of both modern and classic lovebirds, you get two unique birds in the iconic Kay Bojesen design. Embracing responsibility, with their harmonious colors and charming expressions, they unfold their wings with plenty of life and soul, landing right in the hearts of both young and old. One lovebird has light green plumage, a pink beak, a sand-colored head, and light blue legs, while the other is adorned with pink plumage, a light green beak, a green head, and sand-colored legs – almost the same color palette for both lovebirds. Both lovebirds measure 9 cm in height and are made with great precision from FSC® certified beechwood, guaranteeing that trees used for production are planted, grown, and felled responsibly. The colored lovebirds are inspired by contemporary color trends and exude a true testimony to the love for original Danish design and the fascination with the beauty of classic wooden figurines. At the same time, they mark a unique unity, a unifying community in an often too fragmented world. You know where you have the birds. And they have each other. With simple graphic means, the iconic songbirds have for years been brought to life in a multitude of colors – all in Kay Bojesen’s solid design with the well-balanced expression that appears inviting, calm, and pleasant. Enjoy them at home, together or separately. Or give one or both to someone you care about. No matter how you unfold Kay Bojesen’s original stories made of wood, the lovebirds have a special appeal to both children and adults and are a great gift idea for christenings, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, or weddings. A classic that flies with you through life – from the children’s room to becoming a beloved design icon in your own home.

Sold as a set of two, the Abstract Figure brings a gallery-like pause to a console or credenza, with two abstract forms that feel full of movement and expression. Carved from solid wood, the pair reads contemporary and collected—substantial enough to anchor a foyer vignette without feeling fussy. Thoughtful foam at each base helps protect the surfaces they’re styled on.
These graphics pieces really make a large scaled statement. Perfect for any modern setting.. Jeanann. Palm Desert, CA. Thu Jan 15 2026

This 2-piece set of decorative ball sculptures adds the finishing touch to your rustic living room. Each is hand-carved from solid teak wood in a spherical shape with natural gray hues. The coordinating designs feature organic cracks and variations in the grain for a reclaimed aesthetic. We love that one measures about 12'' in diameter and the other measures about 16'' in diameter – next to each other, they have some fun and playful dimensions. Arrange them together on your sideboard, bookcase, or coffee table.
So far so good! Need to complete the overall design to see but they are really fun pieces. Melissa. Omaha, NE. Tue Sep 24 2024

Kay Bojesen
To celebrate your life events, a reminder of all the happy moments in everyday life, and the special bond between parents and children. With the pair of Liv & Lykke birds in the iconic Kay Bojesen design, the wings spread out for all who care for and cherish each other. The bird pair is made from FSC® certified beechwood and consists of one large and one small bird, which you can choose to use together or separately to express your unique story, exactly where you are in your life. The large bird comes in a subdued dark green and, at 10 cm in height, is slightly smaller than the others in Kay Bojesen’s popular series of songbirds, while the small bird at 6 cm, with a body in a warmer green-yellow, is the same size – and just as cute – as the birds you know from the Kay Bojesen mobile in the Babies series with birds and balls in wood painted in various colors. To mark the inherent connection of the bird pair, the heads of both Liv & Lykke birds are painted in the same beige color and with identical white beaks. A symbol that whether they are close together or apart, they will always look after each other. Liv & Lykke is shaped by love, hope, and care – and a deeply rooted tribute to life itself. No matter what story you tell, Liv & Lykke adds a new loving chapter to the history of Danish design and Kay Bojesen’s original stories made of wood. For example, let both birds stand together in the bedroom during the child’s very first months as a nest of happiness as fine as the softest feathers, and then let the large bird fly with the little child into the nursery – or vice versa. And later in life, you can give the now grown child the small bird to take to boarding school or on a trip abroad and keep the large bird at home as a beautiful and life-giving symbol of everlasting connections, unconditional love, and hope for a happy future for a young person. As this special dualistic design icon, the Liv & Lykke bird pair will also be the perfect gift for the new big sister or brother or as a loving greeting between two friends, symbolizing life’s big and small moments, a focus on togetherness and happy times together. With their elegant and universal green colors, the Liv & Lykke pair will stand as an evergreen bouquet in bird form, fitting perfectly into any home. And just as the Liv & Lykke name naturally exudes life happiness and familial connection, the colors are also full of symbolism. Green is, of course, the color of hope and symbolizes the very fertility, life, and budding hope of happiness that embraces life’s small and large miracles. The green plumage and warm yellow hues give Liv & Lykke a balanced and harmonious look that will create a nest of life and happiness wherever they are placed.
These birds are adorable. Smaller than I imagined but they work great. Gave 4 stars only because I felt they were a bit pricey.. Stephanie. Portland, ME. Thu May 07 2026

Wearing the traditional garments of the region, this splendid couple shows the world the grace of Tajikistan's customs. Kodir Egamov crafts the figurines from pine and birch wood as an homage to his heritage, painting each piece by hand to add a special touch, this time with the bride wearing a red ikat dress and the groom wearing a gallant blue attire.

The Chokwe people's history dates to the 15th century, founding several kingdoms across the land, but ultimately settling in Angola. They are vigorous and courageous hunters and agriculturists, reflecting this dynamic spirit in their vivid. These wooden masks are the most powerful and important to the Chokwe, known as Chikunga. Highly charged with power and considered sacred, Chikunga masks are used during investiture ceremonies of a chief and sacrifices to the ancestors. These elaborate masks are made of barkcloth stretched over an armature of wickerwork, covered over with brown and black resin, and painted with white designs. Standing atop bases, two faces of bravery are carved by hand of Ghanaian sese wood. Presented by Victoria Agyepomaa, the masks are elaborated with colorful recycled glass beads as well as embossed aluminum that takes the shape of the Adinkra symbol Kwatakye Atiko, meaning 'hair style of an Asante war captain' and signifying valor, bravery, and leadership. Embossed brass accents complete the masks.
