Michael Aram presents the Butterfly Ginkgo Small Bowl, a lyrical tribute to the magical metamorphosis where flora becomes fauna. Inspired by the Ginkgo Biloba’s double leaves, this 13 oz. vessel captures a fantasia of butterflies poised for flight. Each handmade tour de force features hand-etched, cocoon-shaped stainless steel and solid brass. Reflecting the rich storytelling and age-old traditions Michael discovered in Delhi, the bowl celebrates the perfectly imperfect beauty of nature. This silver and gold masterpiece turns an everyday object into a narrative sculpture, infusing your space with the poetic spirit and artisanal humility of the handcrafted process.

The Butterfly Ginkgo collection celebrates the representation of flora as fauna. Michael's fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree, the Ginkgo Biloba, or "Butterfly Ginkgo", which grows with a double leaf reminiscent of a butterfly's wings, gave rise to a fantasia image of the plant. Executed at the highest level of handcraftsmanship, each piece is rendered in solid brass with hand-etched cocoon-shaped vessels. The pieces in the collection are a tour de force of the handcrafted process, capturing the poetic spirit that is so deeply indicative of Michael's work. "The first time I saw this tree, it literally looked like it had been completely overtaken by butterflies... as if we would all take flight the moment I walked too close or made a noise. The idea that the leaves could evoke the beauty of butterflies was magical to me, like trees that can metamorphose from flora to fauna in the blink of an eye."
Absolutely perfect in every way. After trying and returning many options, this was a home run. Stunning sculptural piece that fits the table perfectly and can be filled with seasonal pieces. Functional and very beautiful. The workmanship is perfection. Highest recommendation.. Candy. New Albany, OH. Sun Sep 20 2026

Vividly capturing the movement of the sea, this decorative bowl makes a striking centerpiece for a table. The fluid, undulating shape seems to almost hover above its stand with the shiny stainless steel surface capturing the light and reflecting the room in which it is placed. The bowl looks as good empty as it does when filled with fruit or flowers and it makes a thoughtful gift to someone who appreciates great interior style. Henning Koppel was a true pioneer in the world of Scandinavian modernist design with the perfect representation of both form and function in his work. His long-term collaboration with Georg Jensen resulted in some truly iconic pieces and his legacy lives on today as new collections are created reflecting his distinctive style.

An abstract accent the Bolivar bowl features a hammered metal form finished in a shimmering gold exterior. This tabletop accessory is perfect for any ensemble with ambitious elegance as the foundation for style and design. This bowl is a chic addition to your home office, bathroom, living room, or bedroom and is great for commercial or hospitality applications.
This is a beautiful bowl, but my bowl was not quite as bright gold as the photo in the ad. My bowl had more of the tiny, tiny dots you can see in the photo, which affected the overall brightness. I would have preferred a little more of the smooth, bright gold surface that you see in the ad’s photo. Nonetheless, it’s a keeper, is of substantial size, and makes for a nice addition to my kitchen island.. Nancy. Arkansas. Sun May 31 2026

Blomus Ondea bowl with burnt metal finish, made of stainless steel, gives a nod to the roots of Blomus with the benefits of stainless, but the renewed look of a burnt metal finish. Burnt metal is a modern stainless steel color that captivates with its different nuances and looks either golden or shimmering black, depending on the light. Ondea bowl can be layered with Ondea bowl for a stunning presentation.
Stylish and functional at the same time! I went with the larger size and contemplating buying the smaller, as well. most of the "metal" in my kitchen and living space is a soft brushed gold and I have matte black door hardware so I was unsure what to go with on the counter and this looks amazing! Be aware the large size is quite generous if using as a fruit bowl, which I have been doing- it accommodated up to 6 oranges, 2 lemons and 12 small size apples with room to spare.. Toni. Omaha, NE. The Olive Branch collection is one of the best-known and most loved of Michael's motifs. The simple forms create objects that serve wonderfully as stunning individual gifts or an exuberant table setting that decorates an entire moment of your life. The theme itself captures all the most distinctive aspects of Michael's work - narrative strength, deep symbolism, and extraordinary sculptural expression. "The olive branch has always held a powerful meaning for me representing both peace and victory. In designing functional objects with natural forms, there is a mingled sense of fragility and intensity. For me, it is like nature spreading through my interior spaces - like a magical olive grove sweetly willing its way into my home."

The product takes its inspiration from the narrative of Noah's Ark and the survival of man and animals after the great flood. Drawing profoundly from Aram's background as an Armenian American, this piece celebrates the potent story of the ark landing on Mt. Ararat. I wanted to represent it for everyone!"

The Michael Aram Orchid collection was inspired by the powerful sensuality of orchids and the rich ambiance of haute couture, strikingly simple yet full of the most extreme detail. The collection has an almost gothic feeling, opiated, lush, and smoldering, like the dark, velvety atmosphere of a luxurious evening. "There is something so seductive about orchids. In blackened nickel, they are even more sublime, like a woman wearing a black velvet gown floating through a great estate or a glassy urban high-rise. The dark atmosphere of the orchids against the hammered metal is like the afterglow of a beautiful evening."

Pamela's Bowls showcase exquisite craftsmanship, constructed from stainless steel with brass and nickel finishes. Every circle detail is meticulously created as individual lost wax cast button details, skillfully applied by hand using a brazing tool to embellish the ring encircling the bowl's edge. The ring is then carefully hand-applied to the bowl's rim, adding a distinctive touch to the overall design.

The Wildflowers collection is a celebration of often overlooked, disregarded, and underappreciated flowers. The inspiration for Wildflower came from the discovery of a set of 19th-century hand-tinted, botanical illustrations which, over time, had faded to muted, dusty tones. Touched by how beautifully each wildflower had been rendered in the antique drawings, Aram took great care to capture and recreate the naturalistic movement and gentle hues in hand-enameled and sculpted metal. Uncultivated by definition, wildflowers, as interpreted by Aram, reflect the ideal of "perfectly imperfect" and capture a sense of carefree innocence in the fleeting joyfulness of nature.

A sheet of steel becomes form and decoration: Joy, like a jewel, a pleasure. The centerpiece is 18/10 stainless steel. The designer has designed a Centerpiece with embossed sides and an uneven, jagged rim. The irregular texture creates a fascinating play of light that enhances the object, invoking the image of master silversmiths' machined surfaces. The large dimensions exalt its formal characteristics and enhance the aesthetic qualities of the metal. Lastly, the glossy finish helps to emphasize the reflective effect of the surface.

Born in Barcelona in 1941 and active mainly as an architect and interior designer, Lluis Clotet has received many awards such as the F.A.D Award for creating the Best Interior Designs for 1965 and 1972, and the Best Building Award for 1979 and 1980. These abilities have enabled him to create many interesting, modern-inspired furnishings and household items that are featured for Alessi. The Port Basket (2001) designed by Lluis Clotet was a development from both the ''Foix Tray'' and ''Sarria Basket'' which had been designed previously in 1994 and 2000. Due to a very large demand for a larger version of the Sarria, the Port Basket was conceived. However, instead of simply replicating his previous design, he chose yet another object of inspiration to achieve this flowing, supple form of 18/10 stainless steel that he is ever famous for. While his inspiration came in a similar vein as that of the Foix Tray (a crumpled paper foil) and the Sarria Basket (a misshapen felt hat), the Port Basket takes its form from a common cheesecloth, making it yet another beautiful piece to accompany the Foix Tray and Sarria Basket. Designed by: Lluis Clotet, 2001
