Subtle and elegant, the Arum collection imposes its style on Maison Daum's new floral collection. Depicting a Mediterranean flower of the Araceae family, the crystal manufacturer creates a magical species where the material blends with the curves of the flowers. The Arum collection comes in the form of vases, bowls, decorative flowers, and perfume bottles, and invites us to appreciate floral art, a world where colors, scents, and nature come together to create a paradise. Poetry that is written one season a year is a reason why Daum desires to make it eternal.

Colorful and delicate, the Fleur de Paon collection draws its inspiration from the beautiful plumes of the mythical peacock. Exactly 100 years after the Plume de Paon collection launched in 1919, Daum has delved back into its archives and imagined a new collection, a crossing between Art Nouveau and the contemporary trends of palms and exotic leaves from the jungles of Asia. The shimmering plumage of the green peacock mingles with the green foliage to compose a wide bouquet of green with bluish tints and touches of warm amber. Each reflection and each color will come to life in these delicately worked crystal pieces.

Inspired by the richness of the tropical forests of Bornéo, one of the largest islands on the planet, Emilio Robba has created this collection of extraordinary plants, almost imaginary, and invites us on a journey to explore it.

The Saffron flower, Crocus sativus, is one of the most valued flowers in the world, for its singular pistils that make precious spices. The Saffron spice is one of the most expensive in the world, earning its name "red gold." Cultivated since the fifth century BC in the Middle East, saffron was renowned for its therapeutic qualities and was seen in abundance at the table of Achaemenid rulers. Today, it flavors the finest dishes, tints the noblest ornaments, and adds light to the most sophisticated cosmetics. 150,000 to 300,000 flowers are harvested to obtain just 1 kilo of saffron. The pistils are handpicked, flower by flower, with a delicate gesture, just like that of the sculptor composing the bouquet and carpet of saffron on the vases of this collection. An ode to a demanding yet delicate spice trade, the Saffron collection narrates the story of the blossoming flower in the sandy and sunny lands and the harvesting of the delicate pistils. Like the yellow-gold spice that colors our dishes, the Saffron pieces are tinted in rich, warm hues, evolving from amber to red.

The Maison Daum presents the Ginkgo collection in green and blue. This color was inspired by the autumn leaves of Ginkgo, as they turn into beautiful golden yellow leaves that persist for several weeks. When the leaves fall, they form a golden carpet around the tree. The fan-shaped leaves, supple and supported by a long stalk, are bright green in spring and summer, before taking a sumptuous golden yellow color in the autumn, earning its nickname, the tree with a thousand écus (French medieval gold coins).

Emilio Robba is one of the most celebrated floral art designers in the world. Born into a family of artists, he quickly became captivated by the artistic world. His first chose to take up painting, studying the language of forms and colors at the Academie des Beaux-Arts. He then turned quickly to floral art, guided by his fascination with nature. Inspired by the natural world and trends of interior design, Emilio Robba has created Daum and an extraordinary garden of Cacti, where the delicacy of the crystal contrasts with the toughness of the cactus. The crown jewel of this collection is a sculpture over one meter tall, which testifies to the exceptional savoir-faire of the manufacturer's skilled craftsmen. This spectacular decorative piece in crystal carved with meticulous details is accompanied by a large agave leaf centerpiece in soft shades of green and a cactus vase offered in options of gray-white or green.

From the Caribbean to Madagascar to Indonesia, leaves from bamboo, banana, and coconut trees are braided in the art of basket weaving. This ancestral practice requires only fresh leaves and excellent dexterity; its use is near ubiquitous for everyday items such as baskets, hats, fences, and decorations. Daum's creative studios explore this art form by adapting the basketweaving technique to sculpture. Natural fibers are braided and then reshaped into vases and bowls. Fronds of different plants criss-cross and blend—fresh, green, and slender—forming vessels where one can showcase cut flowers or freshly-harvested fruits. For an added touch of lush, tropical flora native to the islands where basket-weaving is still common practice, yellow vanilla flowers adorn and perfect these beautiful pieces.
