Round tray in 18/10 stainless steel mirror polished. A sheet of steel becomes form and decoration: Joy, like a jewel, a pleasure. A new model has been introduced into the tray designed by Claudia Raimondo. The tray features an intriguing play of reflections that characterizes these objects, which originated from the union between Claudia Raimondo's research and Alessi's focus on the "skin of the object." The experience gained in the manufacturing of steel surfaces, even the most complex, has made it possible to create interesting projects and to consolidate a technologically sophisticated manufacturing process. It is a round tray with embossed sides and an uneven, jagged rim. The irregular texture embellishes the object and is reminiscent of the surfaces crafted by master silversmiths. The tray was created through the cold molding of a steel plate. The facets that create the particular texture of the object are proportionally sized to the generous surface of the tray.

The Tripod Trivet, which at first sight may seem like an item of jewelry, is in fact a trivet for hot pans and dishes. Devised to dangle from a kitchen hook, it can be taken down and thrown like dice onto the dining table. Once a suitable position has been found for the article upon the table it transforms into a prop for boiling saucepans, scorching oven trays, or hot serving dishes. The cartoon men created by the King-Kong team are a symbol and icon of mirror polished design based on the use of "affective codes", so much so that they are one of its most oft-cited examples. The "standing men" have appeared on objects from the farthest corners of Alessi tradition, like trays and baskets, and then they multiplied, invaded, and conquered other groups of objects - and not just in the kitchen and at the table.

The round tray is a beautiful piece made from polished mirror-finished stainless steel and black polyamide handles that exhibit just this. It blends especially well with many coffee makers, cups, and sugar bowls.

A direct tribute to his friend Aldo Rossi, a Milanese architect, and a keen enthusiast of the dialectic rapport between urban planning and domestic landscape. “Water Tower” is a container that draws its inspiration from typical water tanks that populate the roofs of the New York skyline. The concentric rings along the body of the container, the pointed lid, and the articulated base structure reproduce in minute detail the large tanks that distinguish the landscape of the American city. A sophisticated and complex object, ensuing from the manufacturing skills acquired by the engineers at the factory in Crusinallo, Omegna.

Elegant objects with evocative shapes and decorations: Wander plays with the imagery of the Circus, translating its timeless beauty into a colorful and festive collection. Ballerina is an elephant who loves ballet. She dances together with her partner, a little mouse fascinated by her talent, twirling gracefully on a golden ball. Two romantic characters imagined by Marcel Wanders to give life to a poetic music box. The stage on which the two perform their dance number encloses the mechanism that produces the melody, for which Wanders chose Julius Fucik's Entrance of the Gladiators, the well-known tune that opens circus performances worldwide. Produced in the Alessi factory in Crusinallo di Omegna, this is an object sculpture to be collected, dedicated to true connoisseurs of the applied arts.
