This enchanting design evokes the timeless elegance of a bygone era. The warm taupe background sets the stage for delicately woven ivory motifs, forming an intricate dance of florals and pineapples — a symbol of hospitality, abundance, and heartfelt welcome. Each medallion frames a bouquet of blossoms, tenderly arranged as if freshly gathered from a secret garden. The gentle scrolls surrounding the floral clusters curve creating a sense of movement and grace. The symmetry offers balance, while the soft contrast of tones gives the fabric a warm, vintage allure. Texture is so important to some projects.  This “Birdseye” pattern was designed to support that textural need.  I began this design by creating a more artistic stripe that has the shape in a “curlicue” stripe.  Then I added small splashes of color to provide the texture.  Using two colors (light and dark) helps to provide that textual effect.  Fun and whimsical, this design also has an animal-type pattern  without being an actual animal design.”
