The nape was not suitable for the chair I wanted to reupholster… it did not seem very durable at all.

The velvet is an exqusite richly saturated teal color. It is beautiful ....I would feel comfortalbe using it for pillows or re-doing an small plush ottomans but would not feel comfortable for using it for very large re-upholstering projects such as a sofa. Just a personal feeling.
