I was disappointed in this frame. When I removed the clips in order to take the backing off of the frame, it made big scratch marks that marred the surface. Then I could not insert the clips back into the slots to secure the back on. Also, the clips were very flimsy and bent easily. I had to buy some other clips to get the backing to stay on.

This frame is really beautiful and unusual, not your standard all black wood frame. It adds interest to the photo we put in it.
