They do a great job blocking out direct sunlight and adding privacy but somehow they still manage to keep the room bright and welcoming instead of dark and heavy. They instantly made my living room feel more cozy and polished. Definitely a great combination of functionality and design. The measurements fit my sliding glass door beautifully.
