Wilton Weave, named in honor of the Wilton Royal Carpet Factory in Wiltshire which once manufactured carpets for Morris & Co., has been thoughtfully reimagined. Retaining the distinctive symmetry and structure of its carpet origins, the design celebrates the intention behind the original artwork. Reminiscent of a tapestry, Wilton Weave is refined in its detailing: stylized flowerheads, scrolling foliage, and decorative dots all come together in a smart, balanced composition. Originally created by John Henry Dearle for a carpet design, this piece has been adapted into a detailed flat-weave fabric, robust yet elegant in a cotton-linen blend.
